Avoidance of conflicts of interest:

Lawyers are prohibited from representing conflicting interests due to professional regulations (§ 43a para. 4 BRAO). Before accepting a mandate, we therefore always check whether there is a conflict of interest.

Out-of-court dispute resolution:

Pursuant to Section 36 of the Consumer Dispute Resolution Act, companies that maintain a website, among other things, are obliged to inform consumers of the extent to which they are willing or obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
